Ruler: Don’t smudge

A graduate of 3D Design course at Northumbria University, Will Baugh has a keen eye for precision and detail and is fascinated by industrial and traditional manufacturing processes. He laser engraves the numbers and uses hands to make these unique rulers out of ash and walnut. He adds a simple mechanism to avoid the constant smudging, which can be done by rolling it. Ultimately, he creates a measuring tool and desk accessory that is not only reliable and universal (metric and imperial measurement systems) but also (importantly) fun to use.
