Have you wondered how it is to live in a palace? Artists have used murals and frescos from ancient times to connect dreams and reality and to fire up the imagination. Living in a large stately home adorned with beautiful paintings and chandeliers apparently doesn’t cost an imperial fortune, thanks to playful designers Brendan Young and Vanessa Battaglia of mineheart and John Hammond for imagery. This fantasy is simply “printed on to finest quality 300gram fabric backed textured paper and is suitable for both domestic and commercial use.” That a dream can be evoked and felt powerfully with open eyes is what makes mineheart’s wallpapers extraordinary.
