B Wise

Pendant lamp B Wise is grown from sustainable and carbon-negative mushroom material. The lamp is composed of Two separately grown parts that are put together during the production process. The mycelium recognises its specie companion and grows the material together without any glue or additives needed. The growth of mycelium is stopped and the lamp is completely safe for humans, buildings and the environment. The production of novel mushroom materials is a perfect example of circular manufacturing and can potentially replace plastics and problematic composites while valorising other industries' leftovers.
