The Desk Buddy is a home & office organization product that serves up your pens, pencils, notes, cards, tape, paper clips, spare change, glasses, or whatever else with a friendly smile. 3D printed out of PLA in 4 parts, the Desk Buddy ships assembled with a neodymium magnet embedded in its hand, and a stabilizing steel base. Also PLEASE NOTE that because this product is 3D printed, there will naturally be striations and ridges in the surface, as well as faint marks left by the computer generated 'toolpath' where a layer starts/ends. On the product's backside there are markings where it's supported from the printing base. Made to order - please specify desired color when ordering. Certain colors may yield a higher lead time. The product was originally designed by 11-year old me and manufactured for several years in ceramic (last picture) by my father's design business (www.expodesigninc.com). The redesign comes with extra features, more durability, a sleeker minimalist design, and an emphasis on sustainable materials and design for disassembly.
