Nature Spirit Rider XI

The Nature-Spirit Riders have come out of the woods together after a long journey, and are cantering along in an easy harmony. Perhaps they represent something that we long to return to, and which still remains available for us to remember. Nature-Spirit Rider XI is cantering on his horse, which is outstretched and pivoting over its front leg, ready for the next stride. The rider is looking forwards towards the future, and they move across our shelving as if it in their own imaginary world that we can be part of. The sculpture is made of made of a beautiful creamy-coloured British eco-resin, which is a method pioneered by the artist. The material is semi-translucent, which gives it a special resonance and allows glimpses through to the armature, or internal structure of the sculpture. It is 19cm long, 17cm tall, and 7cm wide. It is for sale as a limited edition of 24, and is mounted on a semi-translucent, almost black, flat acrylic base.
