Perhacs Studio is an independent multi-disciplinary design company headquartered in the forest of Bainbridge Island, Washington. Designer Brandon Perhacs focus is on sustainable design, and he derives much of his inspiration from the organic forms and systems of nature. He views design more as physical poetry and less as market driven commodity, and strongly believes in honoring the inherent qualities of material and process.
Brandon was born in 1979 in Port Townsend, Washington, where he spent his formative years playing and working in his parents bronze foundry and machine shop. He studied environmental design beginning in 2001 at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena before returning to the Pacific Northwest where he designed and built his home studio. Mr. Perhacs enjoys things such as concrete, rust, ferns, Rilke, and extremely spicy food.
