Little Crush II Table Lamp

Designed by Young&Battaglia for mineheart Little Crush was one of Young and Battaglia’s first designs, the crushed plastic drinks bottle with its sculptural sharp angles immediately caught the eye of the design world. Now they have revisited the idea and this time the distinctive shape is created using high quality hand-blown black glass that is squashed by hand. Because each one is handmade, every one is unique. The moulded glass creates softer angles, planes and contours creating a beautiful organic looking sculpture, reminiscent at times of a twisting body, it crosses the boundary between art and design.
