The Pinna necklace brings you two necklaces seamlessly combined into one; elevating the ubiquitous chain necklace by stringing it from a banded circle of hand-dyed rope. Beads, hand picked by the artist, compliment the colored ombre of the upper rope portion. The necklace transitions to a sterling silver chain flattened to give it an eye-catching glint, finished with a handpicked adornment, in this case a Ojime bead carved by contemporary Japanese artisans.
*Hand-dyed 100% cotton rope. Wrapped in Greek mercerized cotton yarn. Overdyed in a black and yellow ombre.
*Sterling silver flat cable chain.
*Japanese Ojime bead carved from boxwood.
*Stone and glass bead details.
*Open fiber “hinge” in the back replaces the traditional necklace clasp.
*Length: Approximately 15" drop from the shoulder.
