Cerne is the tree trunk’s core. In some tree species it is usual the degradation or even the total destruction of the core. In this way, its used the tree’s trunk as a mold for glassblowing. Each cast is used to produce a limited quantity of pieces. Due to its degradation when in contact with the hot glass, the produced pieces show slight differences among them. The final result is a glass container shaped by nature. "The trunk gives me an empty space that could be filled. It's an intuitive process by observation and interpretation of natural forms."
