Aki Yamazaki has been a photographer for over three decades having started taking pictures in his early teens. Aki studied photography at U.C.I. and the Roski School of Fine Arts in Los Angeles. He was most inspired by a number of the masters of photography, most notably Henri Cartier-Bresson. After a 25 year career working at international advertising agencies in Tokyo, Osaka, New York, Los Angeles and Detroit, and at Coca-Cola, Aki is now pursuing his passion for taking photographs of what interests him. Interesting shapes, shadows, places, food and people. Aki’s aim, for the viewer, is simple: to vicariously experience the place and moment when he took the un-staged photograph. His work has been exhibited and published in the U.S.A. and Japan. Aki now resides in Tokyo and his frequent overseas trips provide a breadth of diverse experiences he can share. と Roski School of Fine Arts で写真を学ぶ。
