The Process:

Origami paper boats are casted with ceramic paste and put in a kiln where the paper burns off leaving only a very thin layer of ceramic shell.

This method allows the paste to cast every fold and wrinkle in the paper, imitating it as a second skin.

As a result, each boat is a unique piece.
